My last days in Toronto were spent at an alumni dim sum gathering at the Dynasty Chinese Restaurant on Bloor St W. meeting new + great people~ , catching up with friends, browsing the Uni. of Toronto buildings, touring the biggest library in Canada, &… you gotta hear this joke.
which I will tell later.
The biggest library in the world & belongs to the University of Toronto. Forgot what the name was.. starts with a “W…" (??!) Woodsworth?! or??! ok.. Maybe i’ll look that up another time.
So the rumor has it that the library, when it was being constructed, did not account for the weight of the books that were going to be stored in there so it’s now sinking like a centimeter a year or something.
1 cm a year is prob exaggeration. Not to mention this might just be some urban myth. haha. I guess it’s just something fun to know~
When our plane landed at the YVR airport, our flight attendant, (male) being sorta weird started telling strange jokes out of nowhere. The first one was about a duck going into a store wanting to get “Duck Food".. Which was alright & probably not that funny if he didn’t do special sound effects. The second one is easier for me to express. So here it goes:
“…we have now landed in Vancouver.. you know.. Vancouver is known for sushi, wasabi,.. all sorts of stuff like that.
So there’s Sushi A & Sushi B.
Sushi A says to Sushi B: “WazzupB" (Wasabi) "
See how cold is that?? LOL
Anyway, back in Vanc now & will soon be back to mountain-tall amount of work! :p
