We were on our way to a mall in the North County Fair. We passed by the reservoir, passed by areas devasted by the great fire last fall, and this new exoitc development area that sits on a hill that quite look like a medieval town.

We were driving over areas that were burnt by fire during the Great Fire in southern California in October. It’s quite scary to see how the trees are still black months after the fire was over. It’s also scary to see how one house was totally burnt to the ground while the house next door seems to stand unharmed from the fire. The fire burnt up and past the place where I am staying. I guess it really all comes to luck when natural disasters hit.
Apart from the regular “Disability" priority parking in malls & etc. There’s such thing as “Expectant Mother Parking" here (outside of the Nordstrom mall in North County.
We had our make-up done here for the special day! 😀
Cielo – the medieval new town that I was talking about. Many units are not rented out yet. so this place looks a bit dead. Otherwise it is quite a beautiful “town" for shopping. Maybe a bit of Tuscan or French countryside feel?
or Could be a place for photo-shooting.. eg. wedding pics. hahah
