Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge

 主圖看起來很老英國式的餐廳就是 downtown Vancouver Wedgewood Hotel 裡的 Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge. 很久以前來這的 piano lounge 過, 覺得整個餐廳的感覺就是很英式的黑暗和高雅吧.
The main cover of this post is the Bacchus Resturant & Lounge in Wedgewood Hotel Vancouver. Came here for its famous piano lounge some years ago and it still looks the same now.

中餐的份量滿大的, 但是有點油和撐就是了 (很西餐的 style). 另外那張是甜點.
The portion of main course during lunch time is quite large. It’s cooked in a way that would make you feel very full (or too full) after.

位在 Robson & Hornby Street 的黃金地點, 非假日的中餐時間也是滿座. 這次當然也很高興能看到好久沒看到的樂團朋友.
The restaurant is located at a very busy area so gets quite full during lunch hours on weekdays and weekends. Was happy to meet a friend whom I have not seen in years!!! 🙂

Bin 941 Tapas Parlour

這間在於 downtown 的 Bin 941 在我之前工作的地方附近, 之前來時的調調也是這樣.
This restaurant is near where I used to work. It didn’t change much from the last time I saw it.

裡面的空間很小, 座位也不多, 靠大膽的設計讓空間變得很不同.
There’s not a lot of space or seats in the restaurant. But the interior design was very well done to make use of every corner and decorate them with catchy things.

這次和好友點了 Rose & 白酒, 兩盤 Tapas main course + 1 盤甜點. 他們的烤鴨還滿不錯. 旁邊的那個黃色的塔是馬鈴薯.
We ordered a glass of wine, 2 tapas main course and 1 desert to share. The photo with the tapas maincourse above was duck and potato “tower" (Duck breast, fingerling potato hash, truffle oil, haricot vert, port cranberry jus).

Steamed Cortez Island Mussels with grilled focaccia / Coconut milk, lemon zest, garam masala

另外一道很棒的是這個用椰汁下去料理的 mussels. 現在想起來才發現好像這道菜以前來時就有了.
The other thing we ordered was this coconut mussels. Also very delicious! I think this was on the menu some years ago as well.

Warm flourless Belgium chocolate torte Cognac soaked sundried cherries, chocolate truffle centre, caramel café latte sauce

最後就是這甜點, 溫熱的巧克力蛋糕加上香+黏牙的脆餅(?!). 我們那時要趕晚上的表演所以就速速把這盤掃完啦.
